MODULE 1 

GETTING READY TO LEARN

Place: Al-Biruni 2 Hall

Before we do ice breaking, we will choose who will be the leader class and assistant. Every group must choose by their choosen. Next, we make a whatsapp group. The whatsapp group will use to forward the informations to all members.

·        ICE BREAKING

Before we start the class, lectures gave us different colours of candy. From that, we divided by group followed by the colours of candy.

After that, we did some ice breaking to know each group members.

We also had to name our group by ourselves.

My group name is Coca Cola. We have 8 members.

·        MAKING THE TRANSITION (FROM SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY)

One of the hardest tasks for me and my friends are when we come to university life. It can be a cultural shock for some people. Leave all childish behavior because now we have grown up.

As a university student, we should know what are the different between school and university life.

·        CHARACTERISTICS OF SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS

Everyone wants success but to success there must be a secret behind the success.

·        STEPS TO COLLEGE SUCCESS

HOW DO I STEP UP MY SUCCESS?

a) Attend all class

- Students must make sure that they come to every class. Even the classes are too far from your college, but we still need to attend the class because lectures will give all the informations at that time.

b) Become an Active Learner

c) Participate in class

d) Get to know your Lectures

e) Form study groups with friends

- For me, study group is a must. Each group can contain 5-7 members. From that we can share our knowledge and we also can make our relationship more tight.

f) Stay up to date with your work

- Sometimes as a student, we must burn the midnight oil mostly on exam months.

g) Be receptive to charge

h) Work hard this semester

- You must set your goals that you want to achieve 3.75pointer and above. So, you must work little hard to success. 

·        USING LEARNING STYLES TO ENHANCE PERFORMANCE

Everyone does not have the same learning style. Some people they cannot focus on study while listening to the song but, some people they used to have songs while studying.

So guys, what are your learning style?
